Since I was going to edit my definition of &quot;plunger&quot; I decided to see if I could get a definition of it from Livermore&#039;s days. I found one from Webster in 1913:

Among a number of other definitions, &quot;plunger&quot; is defined as &quot;reckless speculator&quot;. That seems the most appropriate definition for our purposes so I&#039;ve used it in the blog.
